Comedy Film Fest: DANCEY-DANCEY DOGGIES MEET CHILLY WINNIPEG

Fri, Feb 8 / 9 pm

A classic documentary from the WFG Golden Age precedes a modern masterpiece of melancholia in the chilliest of Winnipeg Winters. Dog Stories is the legendary 1992 Shereen Jerrett short documentary about dog owners and their dogs. The First Winter is Ryan McKenna’s 2012 feature about a young Portuguese man who impregnates a vacationing Canadian and must face the inhospitable prairie landscape when he emigrates to join her.

The Canadian International Comedy Film Festival in association with the Winnipeg Film Group presents two days of classic & recent WFG films at the Cinematheque. Full program at www.cicff.ca.
