Several films from our Distribution Collection are featured at the Dunlop Art Gallery in February.

Prairie (Magic) Realism(s) explores tensions between Western Canadian art films which embrace the ability of magic to represent the real world, and those which insist on the sustained power of non-fiction film to document social and cultural problems and their traumatic effects.

Featuring films by Amanda Strong, Deco Dawson, Chrystene Ells, and Danishka Esterhazy the program was curated by Christine Ramsay and Strandline Curatorial Collective. It runs February 6 to 18 in the Central Gallery at the Dunlop Art Gallery in Regina.
