Independent film offers an unmatched platform for creative expression, giving audiences unique experiences through diverse perspectives. Bringing those various perspectives to life through the art of the moving image has been Winnipeg Film Group’s singular passion for close to half a century.
What keeps us rolling
As a charitable artist-run centre, we value and treasure the support of our members, donors, and private and public funders. Their contributions make our mission to support filmmakers from their earliest beginnings through to first production, distribution, and beyond possible.
WFG will continue to thrive and succeed by welcoming and listening to diverse creative voices. We are committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and excited by the opportunities this brings to our community.
We are immensely proud of the unique place WFG holds in Canada and abroad as an immersive centre that bridges the communities of independent filmmakers, cinephiles, educators, and researchers.
