The Winnipeg Film Group is pleased to extend our congratulations to the 2017 Women Director Apprentices at the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television!
The list of 2017 participants includes Leah Johnston, a filmmaker from Nova Scotia whose films, Ingrid & the Black Hole and My Younger Older Sister, are in distribution with the WFG. JJ Neepin, a Cree First Nations filmmaker living in Winnipeg, is also among the selected artists.
