CONGRATS TO ALL 48 HOUR FILM CONTEST PARTICIPANTS (2017)!!!
We are proud of all the entrants!!! It was exceptionally competitive this year, collectively some of the best films yet, so everyone should take great pride in their participation. There was a three person jury that thoughtfully deliberated to arrive at their selections (see list below).
Those of you who did not make it into Gimli this year, fear not, there will be a FANTASTIC event hosted at The Metropolitan Entertainment Centre in Winnipeg on Wednesday, August 2nd. The theatre will seat 400 people and all 27 of the submitted films will screen in this prestigious theatre. There will be a reception afterwards with catered munchies, alcohol & beverages, a gift for all ticket-holders, a silent auction and some Peoples Choice Awards. Please keep reading, because there are important announcements and details that interested folks need to be aware of.
Gimli Theatre – 2017 Gimli Film Festival Screening
Date: Saturday, July 29, 2017 (1pm to 3pm)
Reception: No

Special: Directors get one Saturday Only Day Pass and one free ticket
Seats: 250 people, please buy your tickets online ASAP, it will sell out!!!!
