The Winnipeg Film Group is pleased to offer a Writing Masterclass with Simon Barrett (The Guest, You’re Next).

Simon Barrett is an American screenwriter and producer whose credits include his many collaborations with director Adam Wingard including The Guest, You’re Next, Blair Witch, A Horrible Way to Die, V/H/S, and Alex Turner’s Dead Birds. The A.V. Club has called him one of the horror “genre’s freshest voices,” and his screenplays have won awards from Fangoria, SXSW, and Austin’s Fantastic Fest, the world’s largest genre film festival. Simon is currently in Winnipeg filming his feature directorial debut, Seance.

We’re located in the heart of Winnipeg's historic Exchange District in the Artspace building. We are across the street from Old Market Square at the corner of Arthur Street and Bannatyne - one block west of Main.
