FM Youth

By Stphane Oystryk | 00:01:30 | Documentary | 01/01/2009

Three Franco-Manitoban youths wander the lifeless streets of Winnipeg's "French Quarter", St. Boniface, in search of cheap thrills. Their boredom soon turns into frustration towards a community that's too uptight and a culture that's struggling to define itself.

Farandole

By Danielle Sturk | 00:11:15 | Documentary | 20/10/2012

This short documentary captures the essence of a multidisciplinary creative project that brings together Franco-Manitoban visual artist Colette Balcaen, and embroiderer and stylist from Brittany Pascal Jaouen, who collaborated with renowned Manitoban artisans Métis embroiderers Jennine Krauchi and Jenny Meyer, as well as Manitoban weaver Carole James.
