Tony

By Andrew Lima | 00:15:55 | Documentary, Experimental | 01/05/2016

Born to Azorean immigrants but raised to adulthood in Canada, Tony Adriano formed his identity in a crucible of exterior conflicts and his own unknowable interior motivations. Combining audio testimony with visual processes of D.I.Y. hybrid analog/digital re-photography onto archival remnants, “Tony” is meditation on identity, creativity, and loss.

International Style, The

By John Paizs | 00:37:38 | Comedy, Narrative-Fiction | 1/1/1984

An amusing melange of 60's spy thrillers and other classics. Super secret agent Nick attempts to liberate a top secret microchip from the clutches of multimillionaire Quinton Frost. Paizs pokes fun at the jet set, the Cold War and Jean-Paul Sartre.

Brand New World

By Ryan Herdman | 00:07:30 | Narrative-Fiction | 1/1/2001

A consumer activist is out one night to poke a little fun at the corporate brand culture taking over our society, but he suddenly finds his vigilant act useless. It looks like there is nothing one can do to stem the advertising glut in our society. Or is there?

OK, Now What?

By Jeff Bruyere | 00:02:00 | Narrative-Fiction | 01/05/2008

A happy-go-lucky guy is out for an evening stroll when trouble finds him. Will evil prevail or will the good guy win? (This film was commissioned by the Winnipeg Film Group’s Cinematheque for its 25th anniversary, Silverscope)
