Synopsis

The Real Thing is an independently produced documentary that exposes the disturbing truth about the American led "Drug War", and now the "War on terrorism" and the impact that this foreign policy has on the indigenous peoples of Bolivia. It is a film that peels away the layers of rhetoric used to justify American policy, revealing a war between two worlds, one global and modern, the other local and indigenous.
