Hue Quilted Windowpane at Ottawa Indie

Jun 1, 2017

Lasha Mowchun’s pop art gem, Hue Quilted Windowpane, will make its out-of-province premiere at Ottawa Indie Fest, a day-long celebration of Canadian independent film in the country’s capital.

Lasha’s film will open the festival on June 3rd at 11am, preceding Yaron Betan’s feature-length documentary about the comic book industry, Heroes Manufactured.

Ottawa Indie Fest asked Lasha some questions about the artistic process and her favourite themes. The interview can be read here.

Hue Quilted Windowpane will also be screening this weekend in Winnipeg as part of the Winnipeg Underground Film Festival. Don’t miss it June 1st at 8pm on the main floor of Forth (171 McDermot).

To learn more about the films in the WFG collection, please email distribution@winnipegfilmgroup.com or call 204-925-FILM x 103 or 105.
