GUIDELINES: MFM First Film Fund Guidelines

The Winnipeg Film Group’s (WFG) MFM FIRST FILM FUND (in association with William F. White) is designed to assist aspiring/beginning filmmakers to make their first film. This fund provides up to $3,000 in cash and $2,000 in services towards a small film or video project. Additionally, applicants are eligible to apply for a William F. White production equipment PACKAGE AWARD of $1250. This fund supports work in narrative, experimental and documentary, or hybrid/cross-genre work. Projects that are more than 5 minutes in length are not eligible for the First Film Fund.
