Film Scoring Workshop

$35.00$40.00

In this Film Scoring Workshop, you will be exploring techniques and processes of setting music to the screen. We’ll start by examining the masterworks of the past century of composition, how composers approach writing music for film, technical terminology and procedures of the scoring studio. Then we’ll get our hands dirty by grouping off to score a scene itself, present our works to each other, and finish up by discussing what we discovered in the process. Bring your instruments, whatever musical experience you might have – lots or little – and, most importantly, a sense of humour, collaboration, and an open mind.
