Voice Acting and Recording with Jim VanDusen

 *Note:  This workshop will take place on Zoom. You will receive an email with the link to participate.

This workshop will focus on enhancing voice acting, breath work and gaining confidence for your creative ideas with more expression and clarity. The instructor will also discuss multiple tones, accents and volume level needed to create a distinct persona. He will go over improvisation, vocal exercises and reading lines in a natural, conversational tone.

This workshop will also cover:
– preparing for voice auditions
– pursuing voice acting work
– microphone techniques


Jim Van Dusen is an award winning writer-producer who has worked in radio, television and theatre for over 25 years.  He’s voiced over 20,000 radio commercials. He has written 13 three-act musical comedy plays and a voice-actor who has performed on projects ranging from cartoons to audio books to movies and video games.  He is also a children’s book author and a podcast host.
