Nov 5, 2014

James McLellan’s clever thriller Period Piece has won Best Canadian Short Film – Audience Choice Award (Gold) at the 9th annual Toronto After Dark Film Festival. Congratulations to James and the entire cast and crew!

“Toronto After Dark Film Festival is one of the world’s leading showcases of new Horror, Sci-Fi, Action and Cult cinema. Each October, in the run-up to Halloween, the critically acclaimed event, screens about 50 new feature films and shorts over nine exciting nights in front of approximately 10,000 attendees,  including over 100 members of Press and Industry in Canada’s largest city.” This year’s festival was held October 16-24.

ABOUT PERIOD PIECE

On a ranch somewhere in the Midwest, Renee takes a stand against fear, uncertainty, doubt and evil itself. But does she have the strength to bring back the power of love to a brutal and unforgiving world?
