WFG filmmakers in all-women panel discussion at U of W

As part of the Moving Images exhibition at Gallery 1C03, artist collective The Ephemerals, former Winnipeg filmmaker Danishka Esterhazy, and local intermedia artist Freya Björg Olafson will take part in a panel discussion on February 9, entitled “Unravelling the braids of colonialism, gender and the body.” The talk will be moderated by Dr. Julie Nagam, Chair in the History of Indigenous Art in North America, and will be held at 7pm in the Eckhardt-Gramatté Hall at the University of Winnipeg. The event is part of Moving Images, an exhibition of films by University of Winnipeg alumni, screening at Gallery 1C03 until February 18.
